Today I would like to share with you some of my favorite restaurants in Bangkok. For some time I am blessed to be living in Bangkok where you can try many different cuisine. So let me recommend:
Scarlett Restaurant and Wine Bar is on the 37th floor of the Pullman Hotel Silom, so you can imagine how spectacular the view is. The restaurant serves international cuisine and especially French dishes ( excellent cheese, lobsters, snails). For the moment you come out of the elevator, you experience warm atmosphere. Friendly service, relaxing music and cosy decor help you chill out and celebrate your meal. One side of the restaurant is under the roof and you can admire Bangkok's panorama over wide windows. On the opposite side is a huge balcony which imitates a tropical garden. If you want to sit outside, it a good idea to book a table in advance. In front of the entrance to the main room, you have a display of dishes of the day and French cheese, salami and ham.
Moon Glass -The Social Bar is located on 31 Soi Sukhumvit 53. It's hidden among high blocks of apartments, next to busy Sukhumvit Road. It's a great place for a short break during the day, where you can rest and drink splendid coffee in peaceful atmosphere and forget about noisy Bangkok. I also recommend excellent desserts, I am mad about chocolate lava with roasted hazelnuts and vanilla ice - creams. Moreover, you can try modern Thai cuisine.
In every shopping mall in Bangkok you can find amazing food corner and many splendid restaurants. One of my favourite is Audrey in Central Embassy or Siam Center. It offers Thai and European food. I recommend all appetizers and desserts. I absolutely love Audrey's decor that transfers you to cosy French restaurant somewhere in the south of France.
When you are in BKK, you have to experience real Thai atmosphere. After 6 p.m, when most of people finish work, all street bars and restaurants open and streets are full of tourists and locals. You have to go to Sabai Jai Kai Yang, it's close to Ekamai BTS station. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious and fresh. So don't be afraid of trying seafood. I hate when Asian food burns your tongue and you can't enjoy real taste of food. In Sabai, you meals are spicy but they aren't too hot. Grilled chicken and fried rice are amazing. Outdoor area welcomes you with live music and typical Thai atmosphere.
